Cheeser Station

Unified Brands’ Randell Cheeser Station

Unified Brands’ Randell Cheeser Station is intended to address the costly dilemma of cheese waste while enhancing pizza quality, according to the company. With the Cheeser Station, pizza is set on a grate while operators reach into the holding bin to grab cheese to spread on the crust. Any pieces that don’t land on the pizza fall back in the holding bin and not on the floor or prep table. This allows for 100% cheese utilization.

Mixer

Hobart Legacy+ Mixer

Hobart introduced Legacy+ maximum heavy-duty mixers, featuring the exclusive PLUS System and VFDadvantage variable frequency drive. The mixers deliver more power to the bowl to incorporate and develop ingredients while safeguarding the motor from overheating if operators exceed rated capacity, the company said. VFDadvantage provides a soft-start function that gradually delivers power to the mixer as it increases speed to prevent ingredient splash-out and protect the motor. Mixers are available in eight sizes (ranging from 12 to 140 quarts), and provide as much as 30% more mixing capacity in the same-sized bowl.
