Two years after being legitimized by the 2018 Farm Bill, the cannabidiol (CBD) market is becoming entrenched in convenience-retail plan-o-grams. Some recent chain- and supplier-driven actions include:
Des Moines, Iowa-based Yesway in late November brought four cannabidiol packaged beverages to its stores: Kill Cliff, Defy, Weller and CBD Living Sparking Water.
Circle K in October rolled out a variety of cannabidiol products in more than 150 convenience stores in its Gulf Coast division through a partnership with CBD manufacturer Wild By Nature.
After previously focusing on the natural, specialty and food/mass/drug channels, supplier CV Sciences, San Diego, launched the convenience store-focused Happy Lane brand of CBD products across the channel.
Other suppliers stepped up, as well, to deliver new arrivals to the channel. Click through for a look at six CBD products now available across several retail categories.
