5 New Nut Snacks Growing the Segment

The global healthy snack market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 5.1% until 2025, with nuts and seed snacks as one of the key drivers, according to a report from Grand View Research, San Francisco. The global healthy snack market was valued at $21.2 billion in 2016, with nuts and seeds representing $5.4 billion of that. Nuts’ growth can be attributed to an increased demand for sustainable and preworkout snacking options that emphasize protein, the report stated. It’s no wonder nuts are becoming a fixture in snack bars and mixes as they continue to stand on their own.
