In a partnership with Microsoft, Adroit Worldwide Media (AWM) has unveiled AWM Frictionless, an autonomous shopping solution that allows consumers to shop and then check out simply by exiting the store. Through the use of specialized cameras and sensors, computer vision/deep learning and deterministic algorithms, AWM Frictionless delivers a robust understanding of a store’s environment and actions occurring within it. Azure Cognitive Services identifies shoppers with their face, voice or an alternative verifier. The solution can provide operators with highly detailed data of product interactions and customer paths.
