9 Popcorn Brands With Pace, Potential

Popcorn

Dollar sales of ready-to-eat (RTE) popcorn have been popping at a 5% to 6% annual trajectory, according to Euromonitor data. Popcorn sales have been outpacing the broader snacking category as consumer desires for clean-label, flavor-forward, better-for-you options continue to grow.

Eagle Family Foods Group, Richfield, Ohio, which acquired popcorn brand G.H. Cretors in 2016, was at it again this summer, closing on its acquisition of Westport, Conn.-based Popcorn, Indiana. Eagle also owns grain-based snack brands Hi I'm Skinny, which offers superfood sticks, quinoa stick and protein sticks.

Popcorn, Indiana is one of the leading brands in the RTE space, boasting an array of flavors and product offerings, including classic Kettlecorn and indulgent Black & White Drizzlecorn.
